Hello there! I'm Subiksha Chandrasekar, a Water Resources and Civil Engineer. I aim to innovate solutions that help nature and humanity.
I have a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering from PSG College of Technology in India, and a Master's in Environmental Engineering from the University of Florida. My areas of focus are hydrologic and hydraulic modelling, stormwater management, design of wastewater systems, flood risk assessment, and data-driven water analysis. With an interest in coding, I also believe in the synergy of technology and water, and strive to innovate in the water sector.
From a young age, I’ve been deeply interested in sustainability and innovation, which led me to pursue environmental engineering. Since then, I’ve undertaken several projects related to water systems design, and gained proficiency in AutoCAD, EPANET, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, and QGIS. I have also been involved in a site remediation project where the contaminated water and soil are tested for treatment using biochar. Out of personal interest, I also developed an AI-based chatbot for private use in water treatment plants.
I recently passed the FE exam and I am in the process of obtaining my EIT certification.
Graduating in May 2026, I am currently seeking an internship or a full-time job as a Water Resources/Civil Engineer.
